Full-body or partial-body PPF?

  1. 01

    Partial-body PPF

Covers the areas hit most often, usually the front bumper and the front of the hood and fenders. A good fit for daily drivers.

  2. 02

    Full-body PPF

Covers the painted exterior panels of the car. Suited to new, luxury and exotic cars, or cars you plan to keep for years.

  3. 03

    Just had body work?

After a repair and repaint at Luxe Auto Body, PPF can help keep the new paint looking new. Ask about it with your estimate.

  4. 04

    Existing chips come first

PPF does not fix chips or scratches already in the paint. Damaged areas should be repaired before the film goes on.

Why Hollywood drivers use PPF

PPF helps with the everyday wear that South Florida roads and weather put on a car's paint.

Paint Protection Film (PPF) questions

What is paint protection film?

PPF, also called clear bra, is a clear film installed over painted surfaces to help protect them from rock chips, road debris and minor scratches.

What is the difference between partial-body and full-body PPF?

Partial-body PPF covers the most exposed areas, usually the front of the car. Full-body PPF covers the painted exterior panels. Your estimate lists exactly which panels are covered.

Does PPF fix chips that are already there?

No. PPF protects paint going forward. Existing chips and scratches should be repaired first, and Luxe Auto Body does paint and body repair at the same shop.

Can I add PPF after a collision repair?

Yes. Ask about PPF when you request your repair estimate, for the repaired panels or the whole car.

How much does PPF cost?

It depends on the car and how much of it is covered. Send your year, make and model with the estimate form, or call (954) 820-7391.
